A message from our sponsor:
Healthy hearts go the distance.
In 2008, Prairie Heart Institute at St. John's Hospital celebrates its 10th anniversary. Over the past decade,Prairie Heart Institute has built on the 40 year legacy of St. John's Hospital's heart program and established itself as a leader in cardiovascular care. The physicians, nurses and staff of Prairie are committed to bringing world class heart care to the nation's heartland.
With leading edge research, the latest technology and innovative approaches to treating and preventing cardiovascular disease, Prairie has earned an international reputation for clinical excellence. And like last year's winner, Bryan Glass, Prairie understands the importance of speed. During a heart attack, every second counts. That's why the doctors of Prairie implemented the Stat Heart program. While most hospitals strive to treat heart attack patients in the Cath Lab within 90 minutes of entering the Emergency Department, patients who come to Prairie on average are treated within 65 minutes.
Prairie Heart Institute is proud to host and present the Lincoln Memorial Half Marathon. We congratulate all of the participants for investing in their heart health by training for and running in this unique and historic race.
